I'm a Wes fan but you are not being fair to Wilder. He fought his ass off and validated not only his Championship reign but his career as well. He brought a much better arsenal than I've seen (credit to Malik Scott) and his chin, heart and recuperation powers are next level. He gave up 39lbs last night. Put that in perspective. Think Wildredo Gomez perhaps the best 122lb champion perhaps of all time fighting GGG Genaddiy Golovkin weighing 160 lbs.
Yes,this was the best fight I`ve ever seen Wilder in.....looked vastly improved.

The shit that pisses me off about him is that he beat 40 or so bums before he fought anybody decent then he got creamed, and the idiots of today compare with Muhammed Ali...................ri diculous,he was bad for boxing and the KANG believed his own hype.

Can anyone name any of Wilders first 35-37 opponents  besides an ancient Ortiz and a fat non-boxing Stiverne and the constant victim Braezelle?

It’s pretty typical for top prospects to get a bunch of cans early in their career. The problem is Wilder got used to knocking people out in the first round and decided that he didn’t need conditioning and it came back to bite him in the ass when he had to go into deep water.

Fury gave Wilder Parkinsons over those last 6 rounds.  Brutal.

What does Fury bench?
I would say maybe 200-250 lbs?

The conventional wisdom is to not overdevelop your chest  as big pecs affect punching power negatively.

My chest is big but not quite as big as Arnold's in his prime

The only fight that make sense now is Fury vs Usyk and Wilder vs AJ. Too bad we won't see any of it happens.

We'll get Canelo vs Plant on 6th november it will be good to look at Plant getting crushed. Ufc got some mad fights in the late october to the mid november

There's no other way. Might get worse than Saunders. They're tempted to fight him because of the payday but they don't know it will probably be their last. Canelo should be avoided for the next 2/3 years.

Regarding whether he might now retire, Saunders concluded: “At the end of the day, I’m 31 years old, if I don’t ever wanna work again, wanna sit back, wanna chill, I can do that.

“And so it should be, I’ve put a lot of time into boxing and I’ve paid my dues. The sport’s been very, very good to me…

i agree you got to have a real good gas tank for 12. Fury has it. Wilders super thin legs are indicative of a couch potato with a good diet. Wilder has no foundation to move his big upperbody.

You have to have a good gas tank for three rounds. Ever have a real boxing match in the ring? Some guys gas after one round.

Strength in the sense of weight lifting has nearly nothing to do with punching power. Back in his prime Joe Frazier couldn't push press 170 pounds over his head but his left hook was deadly.

There's a YouTube vid of him doing 170 kg
