Steroid jerk off could have killed that old man with that punch.  No, he wasn't in fear for his life from the old man and he put into action the chain of events that followed by acting like a lunatic. That jerk off needs a correction. He's used to intimidating people and getting away with it.

Similar situation happened in Jersey except the young man picked up and body slammed the old man.  He killed him in front of his family.

Was completely avoidable.

The big dude should have chilled out.

Beating up old men is uncalled for, no matter how annoying they are. He could have just laughed in his face and left.

But the old man went looking for trouble and found it.

Hard to feel bad for him.

Violence solves very little in these situations.

The woman, who's f*cking some other guy, is probably impressed that the old guy went out of his way to have his cranium impact the cement, risking brain damage, in order to white knight a woman whose world view may be diametrically opposed to his own and against his best interests.
