Good let everyone get it so it will be senseless to wear masks and get shots because the human race will build immunity to it.
A few months ago, the CDC put out a paper that claimed shot induced immunity was better than naturally acquired immunity. Also, think of the children! Mandated flu shots too, because the government knows what's good for you. And get this: I've seen three articles in mainstream Aus press recently about "universal vaccines" in development which make you immune to everything. How exactly was ill defined, but rest assured it only works if everyone takes it.
It's tempting to keep reaching for a return to normal, and speculate about avenues that get us there. Things proceeding such that problems naturally get solved, people stop being steered by MSM, not everything becomes a political football, and we live happily ever after.
But imo this won't end. Its not a naturally evolved problem. The hysteria has been manufactired, so I have little hope of a natural solution resolving it. I forsee vaccination status being your passport to a technocratic society of perpetual compliance. The alternative will be homelessness and no legal rights whatsoever. Sounds extreme, granted, but that's where this goes if world government(s) get the ball over the line, which I think they will. I give it 2 years.
The reason a gullible minority can drag a resentful majority over this cliff is that there is no unified voice or community of any kind. Western nations are hollow. There's basically nothing but consumerism. I'm not saying you need an ethnostate or a religious state, but we damn sure better find something that lets people stand together and know they can count on their neighbors to hold fast to a set of values which we all share. This is basically the right wing's yearning, although they've failed to enunciate it in a way that has any real substance.
So what values do we share? I think stewardship. Not passing entrenched despotism along to the next generation seems like something we'd all agree on, but I don't see today's people willing to make the slightest sacrifice in creature comforts for what they claim to believe in. Selfish, materialistic, short sighted, disunified cowards make poor stewards. I think this is what is meant by people get the government they deserve. Too bad their kids are going to get it too.
Yeah, hope I'm a crazy old man. I don't think we're ever going back tho.
