Gone are the days when Chick's armpits were considered the warmest, tightest, and most muscular in the industry. He's a mere shell of himself .

This interview is so entertaining.  Bob's true nature is really getting exposed here just like he got exposed on Getbig.  Hopefully one day he will gain the courage to venture back to the Thunder Dome.  Good times were had.

There's absolutely no reason that I could think of for Robert not come back and post here.

To be honest with you all, Bob is a really nice guy. Part of the issue many people likely have with him is that they've mostly gotten the showman side of him. I was buddies with his brother growing up (Rochester folk) and Bob even back then was a solid human being with good personality. I remember Bob even was a high school security guard at one point and some of the faculty (which were old buddies) were really fond of him.

I'd like to see him come back and share with the crew here. He's a wealth of knowledge regarding the industry and has a world of insider secrets that would knock your socks off.

Funny things of note - 1) Palumbo's Chick impression, 2) Chick made things worse by threatening to strongarm the promoter according Palumbo, 3) Palumbo implies that Chick is getting old, and believes doing a full day of announcing is below him, and perhaps he'd be better announcing for smaller shows. 4) Both Palumbo and Aceto imply that Chick is lazy, and maybe it's time for new blood.
