Would guess yes. Money is their sole motivation, so...
Even those who don't wokevertise seem to drift toward focusing on average, ugly people's dollars. Ten years ago, Underarmour was cut for an athletic build. Last time I tried on their stuff it was like a parachute around my waist if it wasn't too tight on shoulders and back, and I don't have a great build at all.
There's just a lot more couch potato dollars to be had so that's how they're going to advertise and cut clothes. Fuck it. If it's going to be ill fitting, I'll just wear $5 tshirts from Target until a brand is willing to make clothes for guys who aren't trying to hide a 50" waist. But shit, it'd be nice not to dress like a broke frat boy when I'm pushing 50.
