The neighborhood I live in is called Hidden Springs Ranch. It was once a horse ranch. Many of the streets are named after different breeds of horses and other horse related words, the street I live on is named after a horse racing track in Florida. Anyway the original ranch house located a few blocks up the street on Ruidoso Ct. Ruidoso Downs is a horse race track in New Mexico.
This place just went on the market for 1.5 million. It is the quintessential California sprawling ranch style house which I have always liked immensely. If I could afford this place, I'd buy it even though it is ridiculously too large a house for me. As it sits almost on top of the hill, it has a panoramic view of Mount Hood and probably Mount Saint Helens.
