That the cities in Long Island and just west of NYC had ordinances, "gentlemen's agreements," to not sell houses to Black folks. There was one town in NJ, and multiple in Pennsylvania, that had Sundown signs up up until the late 60s.

Yeah. Those kind of agreements were actually law in Oregon. The Oregon constitution forbade black people to even be allowed in the state and under Oregon law "redlining" made it a legal practice to not sell homes to otherwise qualified black people.
