Really? Have you ever bothered to look into the stats of children raised in a home with a father vs children raised in a home without? Look at the criminal\drug addict\abused stats and then comment. For a 79 year old man, you sure don't know very much.
I know that I have no criminal record, been addicted to drugs or ever abused anyone. I grew up having an absentee father and from 8 on a stepfather who acted as a friend but never a father. I did have a mother who was a sociopath and who dominated most of my childhood. But you are correct, an overwhelming number of people raised without fathers become messed up adults. Maybe this is why my two children grew up to become exceptional adults...I have always been there for them, even now.
