Absolutely yes. Anyone who makes false accusations about someone that causes the accused grief of any kind should be appropriately punished.

They should get the full sentence and consequences the falsely accused man would have received if found guilty, and then on top of that get penalty enhancement for the false accusation, defaming one's character and wasting police investigative resources.

But it's not necessarily "racist" police. It is mainly cops who extort or intimidate people to confess to crimes they did not commit or make up false confessions just to mark their case a "success". Likewise for the prosecutors who want to be elected on a "tough on crime campaign" and don't care if they send innocent people in prison.

This guy isn't black and he spent 30 years in prison.

This guy isn't black and he also spent almost 30 years in prison.

This guy isn't black and got sentenced to life plus 16 years and served 28 years in prison.

This guy isn't black and served 10 years in prison.

The list goes on.

The Duke Lacrosse case...

And let's forget Tawana Brawley. She accused 4 white men of raping her. The racist clown Al Sharpton jumped in to defend her. Of course it turned out to be a hoax like several of those cases where supposedly racist whites attack black victims.
