Biden OKs Ukraine's use of US weapons inside Russia in major shift

President Joe Biden has authorized Ukraine to use U.S. weapons to strike targets inside Russia, a major shift in American policy that comes with the risk of further escalation in the war that has raged for more than two years.

The Biden administration had held targets inside Russia off limits to U.S.-supplied weapons. The fear had been that Russian President Vladimir Putin would then seek to widen the war to Ukraine's neighbors. Or, an even more grim possibility: Russia unleashing tactical nuclear weapons in combat.

But Russian battlefield gains in recent weeks near Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city, seem to have changed the administration's approach.

The new policy will allow Ukraine to use U.S.-supplied weapons to return fire against  Russian forces attacking them near Kharkiv region, said the official who was not authorized to speak publicly. The policy of restricting the use of long-range ATACMS missiles  inside Russia remains in effect, the official said.

All those who died would have been better off just letting Russia take over. Their lives would have gotten an upgrade with Russia spending cash to build up the poorest country in Eastern Europe once they merged. Instead all those men died and their women are all getting railed in Poland, Germany, Romania, etc. When the smoke clears Russia will be in charge anyway.

The Deep State Mafia is getting desperate with Russia's gains because the US is bankrupt. They'd rather hide behind a nuclear war.

The goal is to prompt Russia to go nuclear. Then they can blast that in the headlines and try to get China to denounce Russia.

So the question is, does Russia fall for that, and go with little tactical nukes? Or go strategic to call their bluff? Maybe Russia should declare that any incoming missiles will be seen as nuclear and trigger Dead Hand.

Zelensky criticises Biden for not doing enough

Volodymyr Zelensky has criticised Joe Biden, the US president, for not doing enough in allowing US weapons to be fired into Russia as Ukraine faces the threat of a renewed invasion.

What if Russia didn't use nuclear but instead gave advanced notice and dropped a hypersonic on NATO headquarters to show he is serious? Or something similar. What would NATO then do?
