Lots of 'honest exaggerations,' typical of Trump, now HALF of 350 billion sent by the US to Ukraine has gone missing, Zelensky's approval rating is 4% and I thought the best part was "I personally like Zelensky" after insulting him in pretty personal terms And I see Zelensky met with Trump just now, after all these personal insults, what a circus. Some think there's more than meets the eye wrt Trump's maneuvers, you shouldn't take anything he says literally, there's a method to the madness, he's a very sophisticated thinker actually. It remains to be seen how things end up

I don't see things in black and white, after all Trump has previously sent weapons to Ukraine, and was involved in the approval of aid to Ukraine a while back, plus he hasn't even shut down aid and weapons deliveries to Ukraine going on at this very moment, so there's some hypocrisy involved and responsibility about what the US stance towards Russia has been. And Rubio and others have been war hawks against Russia in the past, now doing a 180, but they are somewhat responsible to where we're at now. Of course the Russians say all the time that they can't take the US at its word considering the past e.g. the broken promise of NATO not expanding eastward by some US president, I forget who. It was a verbal promise I think but others have pointed out US presidents have made deals with Russians only on a handshake and a verbal promise, for example by JFK during the Cuban missile crisis reeportedly.

There was no imminant danger of Ukraine joining Nato, zero. Yet you almost praise Russian expansionism?

If America wants to withdraw from supporting Ukraine or even being a part of Nato go ahead, yes look after your own problems at home but you don't get to say to a country fighting for its survival what it should do according to your ambitions.

the UK as it is, is no longer a democracy, they've become a Beaurocracy pretending to a democracy...who voted for any of this? as are many in Europe, Ukraine & Russia are Definity not democratic so your average citizen there are not the ones to blame for the  governments actions. 

I've been to Moscow and the Russian people are by and large really based intelligent people. Its crazy to me the power the state media has to brainwash people on both sides  into dehumanizing people in other countries as a bunch of orcs or nazis. Just look at what the state/corporate media does during election time, covid or any riot to turn fellow citizens even family members against each other.

The majority of Ukrainian people are awesome, the other day a Ukrainian lady drew my blood for a blood test. She told me straight up, the Ukrainian government is beyond corrupt. She told me the whole story of how she fled with her children at the beginning of the war and had to leave her elderly parents behind in Ukraine. They'd walked for 18 hours on the road and had to turn back when the train was full.

The same goes for the Iranian people. I got a bunch of Iranian friends the nicest kindest people. The same story, they are captured and suffer under their government which is an oppressive mafia state. Say something out of line and you disappear.

When you visit other countries and you speak to people there. You realize most countries outside the west (although this is under threat in the UK and Europe) are corrupt oppressive dictatorships and don't care about their own people.
