Stress is an absolute killer of test and a big part of it is sleep. You hear of pros taking stims just to function and then sleeping pills or whatever to sleep. If the sleep pills worked they wouldn’t need stims to function therefore the underlying stress would be insane.

Many of them suffering sleep apnea which utterly wrecks and stresses the body. I’d wager most of their issues are caused around their sleep problems and coming off the body falls apart and can’t repair itself.

Depends.  If they've been on a long time their testes shut down permanently or it can take years to regain normal function.

Even people on TRT lose their testes function over time.  They are pretty much relegated to having to stay on TRT for life or be eunuchs.

The body seeks equilibrium.  Taking steroids/test causes your body to lower its own production to bring the body into normal range.

This is why years ago bodybuilder only did a cycle or two each year.  Going off allowed their testes to resume normal function.

Nowadays the idjits stay on year round which kills their testes permanently. 

So, avoid the drugs and remain a man and not a eunuch.

I know this does not fit in today's pro bodybuilding world. Yet with idiots whom are just juiced up gym rat asshats I feel it applies. Steve Reeves stated if you don't have the natural hormones to build muscle you should take up another sport, such as ping pong. Or something along those lines.
