Kind of like it except for the new Hollywood requirement of putting black actors in roles that don’t make sense.  It takes place between episodes 3 and 4.   They did take advantage of reusing the same sets from Mandalorian and Boba.  It’s like they just filmed all three shows at the same time. 

So far so good.

Ewan McGregor reprising his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi is something that I would have been very excited about in years past.  Ewan McGregor was one of the bright spots in an otherwise nonsensical Prequel Trilogy.

Unfortunately, Disney Star Wars is cancer.  Hard pass.

Funny, how contrived it is. I never saw Eddie Murphy, Denzel, Wesley Snipes, or Billy D, Carl Weathers, Forrest Whitaker  and thought wow they are really pushing diversity. For the most part those were good actors in good movies...

Disney let it pass because they needed a black actress in the lead and I’m sure she is related somehow to the show creator.

She is awful.  Really and acting. Her scenes are cringe worthy.  Being intense doesn’t mean looking like you have to take a shit.

They need to stick to the source material or build an ambiguous character model.

Prince Ariel and Elisa are basically the animated versions of Sallie Richardson.

Just watched all 3 episodes NOT impressed at all , they nerfed Obi-Won he's an emotional cripple who can't do shit the guy who killed Darth Maul as a teenager and killed Grievous , beat Anakin  , same with Luke in the new series. The fight with Vader could've been great it wasn't it was dumb. Apparently no one can catch Leia who is supposedly 10 and looks like she's 5    the 3rd sister plot wasn't terrible but who knows where they're going with it. I gave it a shot

In fairness, she was a real brat in ANH as well.  I'd expect her to be a bitch toward the Imperials, but the good guys?
She greets them by ridiculing Luke's height, talking to Han like he was a pirate (err...well...she didn't know that until later, after her rescue ), calling her third humanoid rescuer a "walking carpet," etc.  She didn't really mellow out until late in Empire.

Ewan McGregor is calling out "Star Wars" fans after "Obi-Wan Kenobi" star Moses Ingram received racist comments online.

"It seems that some of the fanbase … has decided to attack Moses Ingram online sending the most horrendous, racist DMs," McGregor said in a video posted to the official Star Wars Twitter account. "I heard some of them this morning and it just broke my heart."

McGregor, 51, said Ingram, 29, is a "brilliant actor, she's a brilliant woman and she's absolutely amazing in this series. She brings so much to the series, she brings so much to the franchise. It just sickened me to my stomach to hear that this had been happening."

I'm sure there are a few racists out there but her character is horribly written and is almost impossible to watch.  She reminds me of that bitch Marvel cast as Ms. Marvel.

Obi was the same in episode 4.  He feels like a failure.   His one job was to be the mentor to Anakin and he failed and that failure has made him question everything. 

It was great seeing Vader back but without his music it doesn’t feel the same. Their fight seemed slow.  The acting is very muted across the board.
