Also Russia needs us, if they don't sell it to us they will loose hundret's of millions which they desperatly need, the european sanctions hitting them hard (gross domestic product is 40% down), Germany will get over it, Russia not so much.

That is plain wrong, of course it produces more than it cost's, i mean that is basicly the Point to use it, you realy believe you make minus with it? Why? Nonsense.

As you can see we already use more green energy than russian gas.

solar energy 9,9%
biomass 8,8%
hydropower 4%
^^------ = 45,7% Green Energy
brown coal 20,2%
hard coal 9,5%
natural gas 10,5%
nuclear energy 13,3%

Only 10,5% is Gas and only 38% from that is importet from russia.
Germany produced 45,7% Green Energy, and only 4% is russian Gas.

The picture shows what they produce, of course you have sometime's more wind\sun or less and the other energy sources deliver constantly but these problems are solvable with energy storage etc.

Inform yourself how much conventional power is needed to start those windmills or how much oil/grease is used to run  one of those suckers !.
