Yeah I never tried it but it's always said to contain hallucinogenic properties. One friend said it has a slight "acid" feel apart from the stimulant effect. Lol never tried it so can't speak from personal experience.

I took it a handful of times when I was a sophomore in college. One time we ended up taking a bunch and staying up way too late. I remember my brain being mush by that time, 3am or so, and I remember everybody looking at me and saying “what?”, and I thought to myself, holy shit I’ve been talking my thoughts and not realizing it. A few of us had shit like that, we called it “e dreaming”. Not hallucination, but I could see telling someone they’d go for a ride in a rocket ship.
