a doctor was talking about how the heart is in an extremely vulnerable state at a precise moment--if you take a sharp blow during that precise moment, it can lead to cardiac arrest. I forgot when she stated that precise moment is.

But, yeah, football is a dangerous game and it happens. If it was any other sport, I might question it but football is full contact.

I think that is probably what happened, but I agree that we may never know for sure. I haven't seen a full video of the resuscitation. I've seen the ones that show the hit and then the collapse. The exact timeline afterwards is unclear to me. Did they do CPR for a long time and then use the AED only much later?

Cameras didn’t show it. Apparently they put him on a stretcher and were about to put him in the ambulance when they had to stop and put him back on the ground to do the cpr and defib. So not sure if his heart stopped right away or a few minutes after collapsing.

Here`s the lowdown on how he actually got hurt.....HE PLAYS PRO BALL IN THE FUCKING  NFL.....tons of guys out to hit you as hard as possible for 4 quarters.
