Would have to give it a listen on studio quality rather than ‘GoPro audience’ quality.

Heavy stuff I think goes well when female vocals are done over the top of male ones. Kind of like subtitles where it’s the chick who tells me in English what the bloke is saying lol.

Bro...
I found them surprisingly good. They sound like a female Slayer. Even their guitars look like Slayer's guitars.

I see Thin Lizzy beat me to the punch.  ;D

You could make somewhat of a case for Heart, but the main guitarists Leese and Fossen were both men.

And when a female artist does do something great it’s almost invariably a collaboration with a male:

Jagged Little Pill is the third studio album by Canadian singer Alanis Morissette, released on June 13, 1995, through Maverick. It was her first album to be released worldwide. It marked a stylistic departure from the dance-pop sound of her first two albums, Alanis (1991) and Now Is the Time (1992). Morissette began work on the album after moving from her hometown Ottawa to Los Angeles, where she met producer Glen Ballard. Morissette and Ballard had an instant connection and began…

Exactly.

Women, by nature, aren’t movers and shakers.

The drive, determination and relentlessness is very rarely there.

Shania Twain and Mutt Lang.

Without Mutt, Twain would be a mid-pack success during the nineties, and all but forgotten today.

Yep, her 1st album was a flop. After jumping on Mutt's cock her career went UP UP UP......until they divorced and it went down the toilet. ;D

This is a testament to how great he really is. For someone to start producing albums from a completely different genre of music and have it go straight to the top is amazing. You can actually hear his influence on their first album together with the guitar solo on the first song.
