Watching this next, Kwon.  :)

It's probably not something I'd search for and watch myself, but you've earned your judgment for good material to me.

Question: do you think David Letterman chose the blue and yellow colouration scheme for that video as a subtle nod to the war in Ukraine? It just seems suspect to me, and that video was posted shortly after that war started.

Or was Letterman always doing that?

I like how Norris said that the characters that he plays in his films are character who actually try to avoid fights. But these characters will fight if there is no other choice.

Chuck was a great guest and in addition, laughed at all Dave's jokes, which is numero uno.

Maybe he was more “controllable” that other comedians. Easier for NBC to deal with.

And he probably was able to conduct an interview better than most comedians.

Letterman is a narcissist.  Annoying and childlike.

Just by coincidence, I have never watched any Chuck Norris movies. Was his heyday  / main rise in popularity in the 1970's? I feel like he was slightly before my time - with Arnold and Stallone/Van Damme being more popular when I was a kid.

I became a big Charles Bronson fan later in life though - so maybe I should check out some of Chuck's classic movies.

Death Wish IV was the bomb.  ;D 💣

That could be it - although they were also different times back then...when entertainment was about entertainment - and profiting off of it. Now it just seems to be about pushing the Woke narrative, even if the studios take a loss.

When I watched Letterman from around 1994 to 1996, I remember his show just being entertaining. I don't remember his show being overtly political like the utter horseshit they have today.

One of my Favorites with Chuck was The Octagon (1980)

And Lone Wolf McKwon (1983)
