I used to train at 5 AM all the time.....then hit my job........won my class in  The Southern States doing this back when it was one of the top 10 shows in the country.

then oyu were on from 10.30 until 1pm. so a further 2 and half hours

then from 7.50 until 8.20

so a mere 3 and a half hours


and now the last hour

so 4 and a half hours. while getting married.

Why does it matter what time he wakes up and works out? Maybe he just likes to start his day early.

Not everyone has the same circadian rhythm (sleeping pattern). It actually makes sense from an evolutionary point of view. Some are early risers and some like to be up all night. In a group you'll always have someone awake watching out for dangers.

Personally I function best sleeping from 6am to 12-2pm and training around 9pm
