All good...keep us updated. BTW, Chaos wants a dick pic for some reason.
Another one?
Last one looked like a pinto bean in a turtle neck.
Fucked my knee up Sunday walking the dog. Seeing ortho on Monday. Xray turned up an effusion of the inner right knee "consistent with a sprained mcl." Anyone have any thoughts or experience with this?
I'll fluff for the next one.
5 sets Hamstring Curls seated4 sets leg extension4 sets leg press4 sets cable tricep extension3 sets overhead rope pulldown 4 sets seated cable row narrow grip stretch3 sets standing straight barbell curl
Brian's not using the plate loaded 45 degree Leg Press,he`s using the hardcore Fischer Price version.
I use one of those Its easier than fucking about with plates and I switch from calves to quadsThey are real dignity strippers as well, I have seen guys pile plates on a normal leg press but cant get anywhere near a full stack on one of those
To be totally honest,if I`m feeling shitty or low on energy or enthusiasm, I throw these in instead of regular leg presses, but I usually do them unilaterally,or pre-exhaust super-set them with leg extensions.....I just don`t get a good ROM no matter how I set the seat up.They are great for calves, but my calves adapt to them pretty quickly so I usually do a super-set or tri-set for more intensity.I always called these Fischer Price leg presses but they do come in handy at times.
Best wishes and speedy recovery, old bean. I tweaked my back again recently and it sucks. Just to clarify, are you referring to 'walking' in the traditional sense? Or in more of a euphemistic way to imply some form of non-consensual penetration? I mean, you were fucking this thing, right?
Odd they could see effusion on radiograph unless they have previous films of the knee to compare it.Valgus test and Swain test should have shown all they need. Hopefully they checked for medial meniscus and ACL as well. If you do not feel unstable, it's likely just a Grade I. Ligaments typically have poor blood supply so its going to take a bit longer to heal than a muscle strain. Probably 2 - 4 weeks healing. If you know someone that has a BFR device, that will go a long way towards speeding up healing. Terminal knee extension, single leg RDL (provided you put weight on it), shallow range cossack squats, supine physioball leg roll-ins (think leg curl), single leg raise to 45deg with external rotation
LOL Best of luck with the knee Abe!
Machine bench press unilateral, pec deck, cable press one and two arm, shrugs, barbell curls, machine tricep press, hamstring curls, cable rows, rope pulls 3 sets or more of each lots of reps light weight
Thank you my friend. I somehow missed this the other day.
Your nips are all wonky.
For all you old guys complaining about your chronic pain and comparing prescriptions yet again another study has shown "Medical marijuana was comparatively more effective than prescription medications for the treatment of chronic pain at 3 months"https://journals.lww.com/pain/abstract/9900/the_comparative_effectiveness_of_medicinal.807.aspxCannabis has significant anti-inflammatory properties it doesn't just mask pain it heals
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8063125/The evidence supporting the efficacy of cannabis for treatment of chronic pain is limited by small sample sizes and strict exclusion criteria that limit external validity for patients with significant comorbidities or history of substance abuseThis finding may underlie the observation that cannabis users have poor cognitive control and decision making in emotionally-demanding circumstances---> A recent study showed that heavy, chronic abusers of solely cannabis had memory impairment in the Rey-Osterrieth Visual Memory Test. The same study also demonstrated that not only are chronic cannabis abusers inclined to have memory impairment but also are likely to develop significant brain dysfunction that involves the visual-motor system as assessed by the Bender Visual-Motor Gestalt testGiven that it has been shown that subtle cognitive deficits are evident even seven days following heavy cannabis use, it is thought that cannabis use also has lasting effects on brain structure and function. Structural neuroimaging studies have continued to show that cannabis users exhibit abnormalities in hippocampal volume and gray matter density. There is also strong evidence in the literature for damage to white matter resulting from cannabis use, as this is where CB1 receptors are highly concentrated
