ive been doing some german volume training.. 10 sets/10 reps.. 1 exercise per muscle group.. keeping it simple
How's it working?
Ever tried "100's"? Its supposed to be similar. 1 exercise, 1 set, 100 reps... but you use a decent weight and use rest-pause throughout. So maybe you knockout 20 reps, can't really do much more , don't put the weight down, but pause for a few seconds then knockout 10-15 more and repeat until your only doing 10, then 8, then 5, but go in this fashion until you complete 100 reps.
I did this once with an arm workout and couldn't lift my arms for a week. I never had such deep and persistent muscle soreness.
