Because it's the Lions, I'm cautiously optimistic.  Last year seemed real though.  Campbell needs to continue to improve as a head coach, and I believe that he will.  On Halloween, I had better not feel like I do most years which is fuck, the season's already over.  They have to come out of training camp ready.  My biggest worry is the Jared Goff situation.  The guy has been remarkably healthy and available.  At some point, he's due to get hurt.  What the fuck is the back up plan if and when this happens?

Great point.

Also they are putting a lot of stock into Goff being a respectable qb. Dude is good if he has a clean pocket, we are counting on that oline to stay healthy as well. The second half of the season was about as perfect as it could have been for Goff.

I originally thought it was a horrible hire but the guy surrounds himself with good coaches and seems to know how to run a team.

It’s an exciting time to be a fan.
A guy that works with my son went to school with Campbell .It’s a small town not far from the DFW metroplex.Well this guy played football but was nothing special and his Senior Year decided he was not going to play any more.Well 6 o’clock in the morning Campbell comes over to his house and drags him out of bed yelling “all hands on deck Bud you are playing football!!”

Yeah, I picked the Lions to win their division last year and they didn't make the playoffs. This year they should make the playoffs but they always find a way to lose. They haven't won anything since Ollie Cline.
