Organic eggs go for €4.59(Poor-os) a pack at "Denns-Biomarket"... quite the demanding price.
Going organic is only feasible if you have access to a farm. Eggs laid by hens that have been fed properly taste different than the organic super market shite.
Also many times items can be had for half the price and one can see how the live stock is kept.

$2.50 / dozen Kirkland cage free grade AA large.

I eat 8 yolks with 3 tbsp Kirkland bacon crumbles almost daily.

I buy the brown eggs at costco - cage free means they might have a 1x1 areas.  Pasture raised is best - yolks are rich orange and hens eat natural omnivore diet.

I haven't seen pasture raised eggs at the Costco where I shop.  Their brown eggs are cage free just like their white eggs, but they are "certified organic feed", unlike their white eggs.

They do have blue, free range eggs.  I like them, but they're too expensive and they don't always have them.

I think people cut way back on eating eggs and now there are too many.

Good example for the pinko commies of how and why a free market work, and why chasing profits is a good thing.

At high prices, eggs weren’t as profitable to producers, so they increased supply lowered prices.

Prices peaked at $8.89 for 18.  Just bought some for $2.99.

Beef is still ridiculously expensive, but chicken prices are reasonable.

Do your neighbors appreciate your chickens?

They can be noisy.

Rocky’s diet changed to adapt to his surroundings. He was last seen eating seagulls.

Behold, the greatest cock wrangler in Kittyhawk!

Also 5 eggs/day stretched over 5-6 people isn't a lot of eggs.

Does the prenup specify who keeps the chickens after the divorce?

She better leave those birds alone, if she knows what's good for her!

Also the last couple of months, large eggs have been on sale 3dz/$5 pretty regularly in my area.
