What is everyone's opinion on this?  I actually think it is a good thing and could make some people be a little more responsible and have second thoughts before driving after drinking.  Basically if you are drunk driving and in an accident where a parent dies, you have to pay child support for their child(ren).

House Bill 393, which went into effect Friday, says anyone convicted of intoxication manslaughter must pay restitution. The law states that the payments must be made until the child reaches 18 years of age or graduates high school, whichever is later.

Id rather see them take back the millions from corrupt politicians, and start a fund if they are so concerned...  8)
Lets start with the 20 million from the Biden crime family, would help a lot in need...

In Ireland there used to be Brehon Law which was about restitution rather than imprisonment

Problem was if you were rich you could kill anyone you liked as long as you could pay the remaining family some money.
If you were poor you went to jail.

Yeah looks good to me. But I really think they should be killed or put in jail for life then sell their assets and pay the child support. Also like gym rats idea.
