When I was in the Army training with the Infantry, I would always be in the Top 10-15% fastest guys. My trade was Signal Operator / Communications Reserve, and I was consistently the fastest among that group. The Infantry guys were the faster/fitter bunch, but I was still fast. Way faster than JustPlaneJane anyway.

B. Hank - out of curiosity, do you have a track and field background? What sort of times did you post?

As an example, my best 100m time was between 12s and 12.5s. From memory, I'm thinking closer to 12.5s.

What sort of running background do you have, and what kind of times did you get?
