Biggest issue I see here is how did this happen, how does someone get 5 shots off that close to a president, the answer,it was allowed to happen,? Im not saying this was a Biden hit and im not ruling out complete complacency of the security services, but what happened today should never happen in 2024. I did note the amount of useless women in the SS protection today, some overweight is this the type of protection diversity targets will deliver.

EXACTLY!!! I have a buddy who was presidential detail in the corps and then eventually SS. He told me about scenario training and how fckn difficult it is to get remotely near potus or to have a clear line of fire. Years (maybe a decades ) a few sniper teams (marine snipers work in pairs) did a mock assassination exercise with the SS. Anyone who knows anything about USMC scout snipers knows that there s NO special force more equipped for such a task (I would argue they are the most deadly and effective weapon we have). Anyway - they worked with other operators (I believe Delta - can’t remember exactly ) to plan out and execute at a mock event. Can’t remember exactly how many attempts but they never even got a shot off. This was either a monumental fck up or a total lack of resources for advance team etc.
Then - there is the possibility that it was conspiracy - and unfortunately this may be the most plausible explanation
