Kamala’s fate is in her own hands because swing voters (and there are enough of them to make a difference) more or less hold a negative view of her but they don’t really know her so how she comes across in the next few weeks/couple of the months will make a huge difference. On the other hand, swing voters also sort of hold a negative view of Trump but they KNOW him well. So Kamala’s vibes will make the difference. If she is not mean about it but goes back to “I’m the prosecutor/he’s the felon”, she may be able to pull it off. But I still give Trump the edge because of economic factors and backlash against progressive ideology. We’ll see.
Lol, the Democrats dumped the worst candidate they had to run the second worst.
She's not going to win any independent over who hasn't made up their mind (if that even still exists).
Nobody wanted her in her own party during the primaries, and she's literally done nothing in the 3+ years as VP to change any of those democrats' minds, let alone any independents.
*Right now* her own party is split on her. It's not going to get better. If she runs, certain dems will get in line and feign support to absolve themselves of blame when she loses, but that's about it.
