But I know they would be good for me and I hate myself for being a pussy who doesn't do the uncomfortable stuff 
I think most trainees are similar, like perhaps knowing stiff leg deadlifts would be good for hams but doing leg curls instead because deads are a bitch. 
If you just do excercises you like doing then you will make gains because you will do them
If you try and do excecises you dont like you wont do them,
I have always done excercises I get a good feeling in the muscle
I virtually stick to rope pulldown/ext for triceps, I dont do anything else
