no he isn't.

quote:

"One contender who sensed that air of resignation amount his peers but refused to embrace it was Shawn Ray...(referring to the black and white pics posted with dorian being huge)..What we have here is a revamped new attitude Shawn Ray against a Dorian Yates who is bigger which doesn't necessarily mean better!"

there you have it.

If you guys have poor reading comprehension skills, there is not much I can do about it.

take a class or something... :-\

Kid you're taking a beating and its going to continue , here is the WHOLE paragraph

In quieter moments , Yates confides that the recation to his win ( 1992 ) by some sections of the bodybuilding community vexed him. Many wrote his off as a one-time Mr. Olympia. Proof of his simmering irritation was provided by a poster that adorned his gym in Birmingham , England. The poster's inscription read: " 1993 Mr Olympia , Atlanta. To all the disbelievers , kiss my ass! "

Yates may not have been thinking about his rivals , but the reverse was certainly not true. The leading contenders had heard the rumors of an unbelievable Yates guest-posing in New York in July , and several of then ( including Paul Dillett and Flex Wheeler ) had a pre-Olympia sight of the photos of the 269-pound Yates that appeared in the December issue of Flex.

At Thursday's press conference , there seemed to be a general mood of fatalism - unless Yates had inexplicably screwed up in the last couple of weeks , the 1993 Mr. Olympia contest was for second place.

A RAY OF AMBITION

One contender who sensed that air of resignation among his peers , but reused to embrace it , was Shawn Ray. The sport's most loquacious peronality offered his assessment of the imminent conflict : " Of the leading contenders , only two - myself and Dorian Yates - have had a 12-month contest-free run-in. The other guys have bit off more than they can chew by hoping to peak six months after their spring shows.

" Me and Dorian are like apples and oranges : There's absolutely no similarity between our physiques. What we have here is a revamped , ( continued on page 102 ) new-attitude Shawn Ray agaisnt a Dorian Yates who is bigger , which doesn't necessarily mean better! "

" As a challenger , I concede no ground to Dorian. I'm ready to accept defeat. I'm expecting victory , but wouldn't be shamed if defeat meant second , I'd be very disappointed with third . I respect Dorian Yates as a champion , but I'm going for the knockout. I think the title belongs in America , and I'm bringing it home!

Can you say owned? I can  ;)

Nothing in that whole segment matches your original bullshit post

Shawn Ray mentions dorian's 93 loss of hardess in the Flex mag review of the contest...and like ND loves to say, he was there!

I don't even have the new footage. If you're try to imply that I posted it. Here is a question for you. If I posted it, then wouldn't have I posted the dark video to prove my point and not post the new DVD clip? Stop accusing people before you have any proof. That will help alot.

Give me a fucking break , the irony of you finding the ' new ' footage you're full of shit and we both know it.

Seperated huh?
Is that why there is no deliniation to his lats?
Or any midsection muscle group?
The only seperation you can see is his delt/arms/chest

and that is still tons more than dorian's:

its not inferring what I want.

again, answer the question:

what else was shawn reffering to?

hair colour? ::)

Please. I am not stupid.

and for the last time, he was not comparing dorian to himself in that particular quote. In the language called 'English', When  we say someone is 'bigger but not necessarily better" it is understood that we are saying that the added size did not come at an advantage. Hence, there was a trade off. That trade off was conditioning - hell just look at the SIZE of dorian's midsection from 92 to 93 for fuck's sake!

There was a trade off.

anyone who understands this language that we are typing can understand that.

The problem with what you're trying to prove, is that you posted a pic of a front relaxed where 92 Dorian was flexing, vs. a pic of 93 Dorian, not tensing any of his muscles.
This screams desperation.

Oh yeah?

Is that why every single muscle group, especially in his *horrible*  ::) quads, are very distinct from one another?
Please.
I don't see the same blurred muscle groups ala Big Ron signifying subq water.

Are you fucking me?
You seriously saying, posting a flexed front relaxed pic of Dorian in 92 compared to an unflexed transition shot is going to prove anything?
You're a fucking moron.

He is a fucking moron , he's been owned so bad as of late , especially , this is exactly why this thread is so long , because of his constant mis-quotes , lies and slanted comparisons , and his insanely stupid assessments , Dorian is the most overrated bodybuilder of all time  ::)

Yates in 97 was harder than Coleman in 99. I just wached the 99 video again and he looked very soft.
