  Idiot. What creates taper? It is the differential in width between the torso and the waist. In the front relaxed round, the taper is created by the delts, because it is the widest part of the torso in evidence. That's why broad sholders are appreciated in men: they give you taper. You don't need a PhD in quantum mechanics to understand this. Between two men with similar waists, the one with the broadest shoulders has the best taper. Duh!
