what's your point with this. Kamali is as delusional as they come. As if he would be batteling it out with Cutler LOL

just... stupid..

my point is this: although Kamali is on crack on most things, he was right about Jay in 2001.

he was no Ronnie 99, no shawn 94 or Flex 93.

he got second because everyone else was way way off.

and he used diuretics, something that the other competitors like watery Ronnie were proably not on that year...

recall: everyone looked like garbage in 2001, except for Jay, who also happened to fail the test.

conincidence?

no way - we are not that stupid and naive enough to believe something so far fetched..

thats not the point.

the point is that the judges were so biased the other competitors were not even given the chance.

Its their job to be fair, impartial and unbiased. This did not happen in 93.

poorest judging in olympia history right there.

could not possibly be any more partial.. :-\

That's Uncle Joe....remember, they had a paycheck to worry about  ;)

Ronnie has received his fair share of gifts, as did Dorian.

However, there was absolutely no gift in 93. Dorian got 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

what do you mean "excuses"?

 ::)

not even comparing the winner of a contest to the competitors in a round is NOT impartial judging, under anyone's definition.. ::)

it is not an excuse.

it was a biased travesty that never should have been permitted to occur.

whats your explanation as to how dorian could have fairly been judged without having even been compared to the competitors in the muscularity round?

hmmm? ::)

you are just mad because this sort of thing (along with the mountain of post tear pics and videos) supports what we have been saying all along:

the judges were far from impartial during dorian's reign.

dumbass, you are referring to the 93 olympia - pre tear.

it was apparent to everyone there, competitors and writers, that when yates walked out and his his poses, there was no need to call dorian out.  he was that dominant.

there was a reason why flex wheeler called yates 'untouchable' that year.

stop being a whiny bitch just bc the samething NEVER happened to ronnie.

straigt from the IFBB site:

Nothing could stop the amazing Yates in 1993 as he rocketed the scales at a record 257 pounds in Atlanta. Even runner-up Flex Wheeler called him "untouchable". Yates certainly seemed set for a long reign in the manner of other great Mr. Olympias

And you think the same wasn't the case during Ronnie's reign?

Ronnie has had his fair share of gifts, but he finally came in so off that the judges could not give him the win. Cutler matched Coleman from the rear, but even at his worst, nobody matched Yates from the rear, he still had his incredible back.

of course it never happend to Ronnie. thats because the judging was much more fair during his reign.

when ronnie came off, he lost points and even lost contests..

dorian's reign was not nearly so unbiased..

I know you are a little slow, so I'll make this real simple :P:

you are missing the whole point.

it has nothing to do with need.

it has to do with formats in place to allow for fair and unbaised judging.

in determining a winner you HAVE to compare the WINNER vs. the OTHER COMPETITORS.

not doing so is admitting bias and partial judging..

Hulkster,

do you truly believe Ronnie deserved to win the 2001 Mr. Olympia considering that he lost the entire pre-judging?

If the samples went to a non IOC accredited lab as they did (in violation of IFBB rules) then he did deserve to retain his placement - as he did.

From the 2003 Mr. Olympia report by Ryan Mackie on bodybuilding.com

http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/ryanm20.htm

"His posing was vibrant as he hit one colossal muscle shot after another. From every angle he looked unbelievable. His rear lat spread and rear double bicep poses must now be without question the best the sport has ever seen, even eclipsing the great Dorian Yates."

Quit sidestepping the question Hulkster. You and I both know it's laughable than there is any level of drug testing at the Olympia. It's likely that Chad simply found Ronnie a loophole around the test.

Now, back to the issue. It is 100% laughable to even entertain any sort of conversation about 90s judging being unfair when you can't even admit that 2001 was one of the biggest shams in history. Jay Cutler flat out whooped Ronnie's ass in both the muscularity and symmetry round yet was still denied the Sandow Trophy. That one is pretty hard to explain...

from the same article:

"Everyone could see that at 287 pounds this was Ronnie's night and that he was back on top of his game and furthermore bodybuilding had just seen the bar of excellence raised even further. Just like Dorian Yates did in 1993 when he set a new standard, Ronnie has now taken it even further leaving all his competitors wonder what they have to do to now catch Ronnie Coleman, let alone beat him."

And 3 years later he was beaten easily by Jay Cutler. So much for him being unbeatable. LOL

you still havent provided why anyone would be biased or impartial to yates.

you need something called evidence.

merely stating bullshit claims isnt enough.

and posting a few pics of dorian loosing various poses isnt enough.

no bodbybuilder will look amazing in every pose.

besides, what you interpret the pictures as is something entirely different to what myself, the judges, and reality say.
