LOL my ass was 96 Ronnie anything close to 99 Ronnie:
I didn't say he was close; I said he was better. He had the conditioning that he had at the 1998 Olympia but carried 10 lbs more of muscle. How the hell do you think he defeated Wheeler with straight-firsts scores? Also, Ronnie had a flat stomh and his abs, while never outstanding, were at their best at the 1996 CPC. So, in conclusion:
- Ronnie was as big as he was at the 1999 Olympia.
- Just as ripped.
- But with great abs and no stomach distension.
- and he beat the king of symmetry, wheeler, with straight-firsts scores.
- and still got defeated by Dorian at that year's Olympia with straigt-firsts scores.
that should give you an idea of what would happen if the 1995 Olympia Dorian went against the 1999 Olympia Ronnie.

Now, let's assume that you are right about Ronnie having more separations and striations at the 1999 Olympia than he did at the 1996 CPC. In any case, Ronnie at the 1996 CPC was 3 lbs heavier than he was at the 1999 Olympia and he had a flat stomach. Now, between two bodybuilders who are equally muscular but one has more separations with a gut and the other has less separations but a flat stomach, I take the latter. this would make the 1996 CPC and 1999 Olympia versions of Ronnie roughly equal. And surprise, Dorian defeated him with straight-firsts scores.
