after seeing the pics and videos, he came to the conclusion that judges, other bbers, and every other living person in the 90's already knew and knows - yates was the best and beat the best.

there has yet to be someone who thought dorian would win and later changed their mind, saying ronnie was the greatest.

he was saying that AFTER he viewed the 99 vs 93 shots on page 489..

Is Dorian an inspirational bodybuilder to you in terms of his dedication, training style, preparation, intellect, etc?

Well yes, but sorry to state the obvious but any pro especially those that make it to a level of winning the Mr.O, or even competing in it inspire me as far as dedication etc. Obviously, one cannot be a multiple Mr.O winner unless you are dedicated, prepared, train hard etc.

Very true, not to take away anything from other champions, but I believe Yates' attention to detail, discipline, and drive were all a cut above anyone else. That's the only way you can explain how he took average genetics for an IFBB pro and beat the best competitors in the history of the sport.
