Hulkster comes out with all these shitty comments but at the end of the day no one cares because he's not worth a hand job.
but, he is the only mr. olympia to EVEN compete at the arnold while being mr. olympia. when the others have not, its stupid to make a big deal out of it, but you will anyways.
the 93 olympia is legendary.
yates killed everyone in this pic.
The resemblence is uncanny really:
only because dorian set the record for the heaviest Mr. olympia to that point.and given what he looked like, its not hard to see why his blocky truckdriver like build set the record for heaviest weight: too bad Ronnie came along 6 years later with the same weight only with a small waist, and at least some lines and aesthetics:
see, if you paid attention, you will note that the mags often mention this little factoid...it is important.
But if Yates wasn't Mr Olympia material he wouldn't have won.
and besides the 93 Mr. O. is not legendary.when people think of 1993, no one cares that dorian won the O. that year.all they remember is Flex Wheeler winning the Arnold Classic in a shape that would have beaten yates in 93..
When I saw the pics of Flex Wheeler at the Arnold Classic I was convinced that he would be the next Mr Olympia and possibly dethrone Yates that year. When they stood together on stage however it was a completely different story.
Coleman guest posing in Hawaii or the return of Paul Dillett? You decide. LOL
look at that last shot: when he is dieted down he will beat Jay from the front.the torn lat might fuck things up from the back, but then again, Jay's back has never really been that great anyway.
