When I ask someone why they voted for Biden / Harris and they say abortion rights, I remind them Roe V Wade was overturned WHILE they were in office. Then I watch their bulb begin to flicker.
Sure the president appoints supreme court justices but basing your presidential vote on Abortion is idiotic.
A president has ZERO say in abortion. They can only hope to get a chance to nominate a justice during their term- that only happens when one steps down or dies. Dems try to stack the court with liberal justices and Pubs try to stack it with conservative justices.. but even so, it doesn't guarantee that they'll revisit Roe V Wade.
That fact goes way over their heads.
