Rich Gaspari - in Los Angeles - 06-06-25

Rich Gaspari came to visit today here in Los Angeles, along with Troy Johnson (friend and Gaspari rep).   Went to lunch, got to talk about new items (Proven Whey), good times in the past, and much more.  Rich has been here quite a few times over the years, but always nice catching up with the 1989 Arnold Classic winner! Probably have known him since 1992 or something like that.  He did train out here earlier at Gold's Gym Venice (where the iconic Charles Glass still trains to this day).

Gaspari was a true bodybuilder, did the most with what he had and brought a new standard of conditioning to the sport.  Looked amazing back in the day and it is literally insane that he was able to go toe to toe with the massively genetically gifted Lee Haney and hold his own into runner up status many times.

No, just stopped eating rice, and fast food - and eating more protein and vegetables.  Also, exercising a bit more.

I don't remember that but he did say that he would die for the O title. Nowadays he says he used 10 tablets of Anavar, 20mg, which everyone thought was a crazy dosage at the time, according to him. For comparison, 100mg is a common gym rat dose today.

He's since revised that and now says he only ate 20 liver tablets and 6 eggs (over easy) each day.
