They all are required to have the same credentials and training. DEI is this case means that folks of color or woman are not excluded from the process of hiring based on factors outside merit- like being a woman.

There is inherent bias within particular fields, the idea was to overcome this.If all mechanics have similar training I would still want a man for example, or a nurse if there were men available.
