You would have to be an absolute moron to think otherwise or have some skin in the game and make science political.

I wonder how many climate change "scientists" make their living from the increased taxes the general population is forced to pay in order to "fix" climate change? ::)

How many scientists are paid with tax dollars is nearly impossible to know,, but I think it is safe to say most are since the vast majority of the funding for mainstream research comes from federal sources, which includes the National Science Foundation (NSF), NASA, NOAA, and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). A smaller number of them are funded by private entities who contribute to climate change research.

My guess is that one of the main reasons some folks are against climate change research is because they do not believe they should have to pay for it. I wonder what percentage of tax dollars goes to climate change research. It is likely less than 1% of total tax revenue. The average federal income tax is around $14,000. This would suggest the average taxpayer pays $140 a year for scientific climate change research.

How much covers scientists’ salaries is difficult to calculate but is not much because the majority is allocated to operational costs like equipment, lab supplies, travel, and the salaries of graduate assistants and other staff and grants.

Dumbass.

Auto registration funds have significantly impacted climate research and initiatives, particularly through programs aimed at promoting electric vehicles (EVs).

Oh ... you actually don't understand the argument. This makes sense why you wouldn't believe the facts of the matter, you haven't taken the time to understand what the scientists mean by human driven climate change.

what you are saying is animals have always died the scientist says yes but there has been an increase in deaths that do not fit the pattern and using proven statistical metrics and predictive models we can tell that human caused vehicle collisions with animals has increased the death rate. You retort, but animals have always died in some years more than others, before cars!! The scientist points out that we have data stretching back thousands of years and can see the fluctuations and degree of rise in deaths and this increase since the 1930's is 15x the normal pattern in any year decade measured and the fastest rate of any century.

Do you understand now? its not that the world hasn't been hotter or that it hasn't been colder the climate is a dynamic system, its a process, thus its always by definition in a state of change, the rate of change is the problem.

This is Greta Thunberg approved.

Dude its the whole world! lololol.

Private institutes, people on salary at nasa, all the research. Your argument is insane and super paranoid. If you think a career PHD is making extra bucks pumping out studies on ice core samples then I don't know what to tell you. If you think every organization in the world that tracks the data is fudging it to increase tax revenue then you are being juvenile and do not live in the real world. What I am referring to is morons who ignore the data and say exactly what you are saying, its a farce created by big energy (they would want the opposite) the world over to steal your money.

It's simply a fact. People could take advantage of that fact as they did with covid or any other fact aka make a political argument but if you believe the opposite of what every credible scientist and organization in the whole world (russia, china, france, australia, canada, us etc) are saying in unison then you are the issue.

If someone could provide counter efvidence in the form of a study they would make way more money then corroboration, any refutation of the narrative would gain them world wide notariety and likely a nobel at this point. However, they can't because there are 100s of pieces of evidence that all point in the same direction, only a lunatic would deny it, its beyond a reasonable doubt.

heraclitus pointed that out a long time ago, process ontology is correct. Glad you agree.

I am not sure if you are familiar with the term delta but the delta is too high.

your blood pressure always changes, if it changes too fast you have problems. Your argument is silly. I realize you aren't all that smart but I actually enjoy learning about reality rather then living in my own bubble of ignorance. It certainly doesn't stress me, but that attitude is very unserious and very immature.

I assume you don't have kids? Your attitude is exactly in line with other far right lunatics, no compassion for others, selfish as all hell and haven't realized that allocentricity is the key to happiness. Your little existence will go out with a wimper and no one will care because you didn't.

Focus on yourself brother, keep posing for people to feel more secure with your body dysmorphia and ride the waves of elation and ennui that come with narcissism.

The climate can't not change, just your like your body, entropy ensures that.

its like saying my weight fluctuates up and down and then you take gear and all of sudden you get swolliosis. You then claim because your body is always changing it cannot be from something novel to the system.

I dont know about taxes, I have not read if carbon taxes help. I think its likely too late anyway we will just have to deal with the fallout. Obviously switching to renewables makes sense, stopping massive deforestation, carbon capture startups etc.

Do I think retards will try and take advantage of this situation, yes, do I think that reflects on the veracity of the claims made the world over, no.

We are in end stage capitalism now, accumulation is the name of the game with the idea of endless profit. Humans and the environment are a standing reserve, resources to be used in the name of capital. The inequality is widening, the situation will not improve economically, its baked into the system. Nothing will likely be done as capital is now the ruling class, not humans.

I just don't see how you stop a system that has evolved beyond our control.

These are fucking politicians. Do you realize that politicians don't know fuck all? I am not even watching that retarded video. I don't care what a non-expert has to say, nor what an non-expert is doing questioning him.

Do you have zero credentials for your profession? Do you get all of your information regarding the world from the news?

The entire fake “climate change crisis” was made up by politicians.

“Massie earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering (1993) and a Master of Science in mechanical engineering (1996) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His master’s thesis focused on haptic interfaces for virtual touch technology. At MIT, he excelled in competitions, including winning the 1992 2.70 Design Competition and placing sixth in the 1990 GM Sunrayce with the MIT Solar Electric Vehicle Team.”
