This group of folks is not the problem.

Most of the people in this category aren't going in thinking they're anything.  They just want to carry protection and learn how to properly do it.

Of course there will be some who might get a bit gung-ho, but regular folks carrying and overreacting has not seemed to be an issue.

Given they are doing "courses" probably like Coach then i highly doubt they have any real experience to judge a given situation & to keep calm.

Without Guns, normal average law-abiding citizens (elderly, women etc) will become even more victims, since guns can protect them from the usually stronger, younger and crazier criminals, who without guns will use brute force, blades, knives, bats, axes etc

Gun violence is a small price to pay? look at the scale of the UK VS´s the USA
Guns of all types are in the hands of many Citizens who are not in my opinion capable of real responsibility when using firearms.

We have "free" education. It is paid for by taxpayers.

The health care is a whole multi page argument. It could be better it could be worse. Personally, I think even with "free for all" healthcare in the US we would not be much healthier as a nation. Our culture is not healthy. That in turn leads to many health problems.

Last estimate was 490 million guns in a population of 340 million and approximately 48000 gun incidents.

100% not true. Law abiding citizens will (hopefully) never even draw their gun. This is the false argument that anti gun people have. The law abiding citizen isn't the problem. There could be a billion guns and if everyone followed the law, nobody would ever get shot with one. Criminals don't follow laws, pretty simple. And just to set the record straight, many people that take these courses are far more trained than your average police officer that only fires his weapon to qualify, so just because some yahoo has a badge doesn't mean he is better trained or more proficient with a weapon.
