Again, please give an example to exactly what you are saying because I don't think you understanding what you are asking yourself. People who are suffering from mental health issues can not be taken at face value with what they say or believe. Look at Royalty. Or those people who claim the CIA talks to them in their heads or whatever. There is a dissocation from reality there that renders them unable to make decisions on their own.
For the other claims in this reply of yours, some people may feel like they are the wrong sex. That is a mental issue from my viewpoint. However, you literally can transition from male to female or vice versa from a visual/physical stand point through reconstructive surgery. Now whether you can become a BIOLOGICAL opposite, is another matter. Getting pregnant or fathering offspring would be a foolish attempt imo.
To your next point, I already commented on the "of age" part. For medical health reasons, there are legitimate reasons for administering hormones and such. Though I do not agree that mental health or visual results are legitimate ones. There is no sympathy, empathy or mercy from me for pedos. So I am not sure what you are getting at there. I specifically posted an instance where a Republican lowered the age of consent so his family member would not be charged after it was discovered.
Again, for the hormones, mutilations, etc... it would be easier if you provided a link to an exact case and I could reply more exactly.
