Chris effing Cornell. What a voice. I celebrate the man's entire catalogue. Without a doubt, one of the greatest rock vocalists of all time. I could be singing along in my car, struggling to hit the notes even in falsetto, and then he just switches it up an octave again. Truly impressive range. And he could convincingly sing a wide variety of styles, too.

I recently had the great pleasure of introducing my partner to Wayne's World as, surprisingly, she never watched it before. During one of the scenes with Cassandra (schwing!) and Benjamin Kane (double schwing!) I distinctly heard Chris's voice in the background and realised it was my favourite Temple Of The Dog song. Originally released in 1991, it surely counts as an oldie now, and so I would like to present this awesome live version of 'All Night Thing':
