Lipitor works well though your numbers really aren't bad. The downside to lipitor is that it readily enters other tissues besides liver. It readily enters muscle tissue and has exactly the same effect it has on liver tissue (disrupts mitochondrial energy production.) at 20mgs EOD you are getting some muscle damage it's just minimal and you don't notice it much. Yet. Fast forward 20 years when you have half the muscle mass you have today and you'll have huge issues. But the choice is suffering or higher risk of heart attacks and strokes. Approximately 5% higher actually. Because statins have only been clinically proven to decrease the odds of a heart attack or stroke by a whooping 5%. And that's if you take them daily and at a higher dose than 20mgs. Additionally statins are very liver toxic. And there are much better newer alternatives. But by all means keep on keeping on. Yes I had asked here a few years ago and no one had any clue as to statins and oral steroids effects on lipids and I couldn’t found anything online. So figured I would post if anyone was interested as some people said they were curious back then as well. My liver enzymes haven’t moved at all still 23/24 ast/alt on statins/anavar and test.

No HDL low last time I checked, but of course, other lipids in range. Just noting that some gurus think Anavar is very safe as far as steroids go, at least from a liver toxicity POV and is an S Tier steroid Low HDL of course is a problem if it happens. Milos once said his HDL was zero once when tested, didnt mention Anavar though.

Supposedly the Chinese sources are out of oxandrolone raws, says Steve at least, due to the fentanyl chem busts. I wonder where the clinics get their Anavar raws, I kind of suspect they they get them clandestinely and there are potential legal issues for the clinics. I don't know why they couldn't prescribe dbol the same way, but the name is an a eye sore so they don't touch it.

Tried it for a few months. Got some more volume which was cool, but noticed it increased blood pressure and I didn't want that. With the increased bp it also icreased vascularity which I dont really want more of. Didn't test my bloods at it though since I went off it after a 3 months or so

Im not gung ho on becoming a competetive bodybuilder or something at my age so just stayed with test after that

The famous "Vigorous Steve" says you can pretty safely stay on 2.5 or 5mg of Anavar daily year round and reap some benefits. On top of TRT of course I’d say the effects might be hard to quantify. Of course any amount of steroids is more effective than none.

What is 2.5mg or 5mg going to do?   I can't imagine any visible results would be seen.

I’d say you would get good slow results off 5mg s a day for a year. And no sides most likely.

I left out that I took 6.25mgs for a month prior to doing 12.5,25 and 37.5 and I got crazy pumps, good vascularity and a lot of motivation with that dose in a Few weeks. I was gonna stay with that dose for a long time but got greedy and upped the dose. I also think 5mgs of Dbol a day would do quite a bit as I got good results off 10-15 years ago. Low dose with hard training can do a lot. Depends on the person and the training and diet, I know I get far better results off 100 mgs if test a week than most I know doing 250-300 a week.

Exactly. He was doing 12.5 most the time and 25 sometimes. Low dose is the way to go, people rely on drugs and not training to diet when if should be rely on training and diet with a little boost from drugs to keep you interested.

Like I said it would be hard to measure what it does but more hormone is more anabolism however small. It also used to come in 2.5mg tabs IIRC and some like Rich Gaspari said others thought he was megadosing by taking 10 tabs a day. Winstrol is somewhat comparable and the Spanish tabs were typically dosed at 6mg, 3 tabs a day, in medical settings so it does do something. Like robc says 5mg of Dbol would definitely do something... but Im talking about someone who is either natural or on legit TRT with test in physiological range.
