I’m reading the news and it looks as though the government is trying to rally the populace to take to the streets in protest. There are Colombian paramilitary groups that are in Venezuela and say they are going to push back on American imperialism. If there is no defection by their military people I don’t think the coup is going to come to fruition. Maduros cabinet is still in place, so the people are scared to speak up, it’ll be just like the 2024 election and just fizzle out. Unless USA puts “boots on the ground” there’s no way we get any of the bullshit we are trying to claim.

I was being sarcastic. I'm saying our or our countries' 'morals' and rules have been sort of upended on a few fronts recently. Of course I've always felt morals and rules are things many are just hiding behind, follow them only as long as they serve you; but in the end 'Might makes Right.' I'm not crying tears for Maduro but people are asking if what's happened is "right" or "legal." Others feels everything is permitted if it helps you or your country, and stealing oil for example is a boss move. I think it's fine if that's what you believe but the same people demand that others follow some type of rules or they condemn "terrorists" while committing terrorist acts themselves and so on.
