Do you drink coffee and how do you make it?

I have one of those coffee machines with the pads and the plastic water reservoir. I am thinking this is a microplastics hazard, especially if the water in the plastic gets heated.

Any better solution you may recommend to me to make coffee while minimizing this issue?

I drink a  lot of it.....good old Mr. Coffee machine, nothing fancy, and I alternate between Folgers,Maxwell House,and Chase & Sanborn.

Usually Folgers though until I feel I need a change.

I have a simple Nespresso machine:





The water in the reservoir remains cold, only the water pumped through the machine is heated. But the cups / capsules themselves are aluminum, so no plastic risk there.

Very popular here in The Netherlands, such Nespresso machines are everywhere, including in nearly all holiday houses and such.

I also have an old school Corning Ware percolator which makes awesome coffee but it takes a while so I use it rarely....but the coffee tastes great !

The really bad thing seems to be the pesticides you're con-sooming, since cof-fee a cash crop.

I bought the cheapest coffee maker on Amazon about 15 months ago and, let me tell you, that little puppy is still pumping out Joe like nobody's business.

A  bit of an investment and requires some maintenance like decalcification, but well worth every damn penny.

pesticides are known to cause alzheimers, and my wife tells me a lot of shit I don't remember at all and it just worries me very much that I may have it. Freaks me the fuck out
