In no world would trump allow an ICE official to be prosecuted
No doubt Trump would try his darndest, to interfere with a state criminal prosecution of an ICE official. But constitutionally, he does not have the authority to stop it.
Trump has been trying to get Tina Peters out of prison with a pardon unsuccessfully for over a year. In December 2025, Trump 'pardoned' her, but as of today, Peters remains incarcerated with a current parole eligibility date of December 20, 2028. Trump lays claim to a lot of things, even those things he cannot do.
