I had it at six initially, but after another watch agree it's top 5, narrowly edging out The Revenge of Old One-Horn in 1891.

The Hornswoggle Stampede of 1875 remains the GOAT.

It always makes me laugh how these idiots think they are safe because they have a camera.

The old prospector and his grandchild triggered the bison when they were taking photos. Same thing with orangutans. If you see one approaching, don't make eye contact. Leave the area if possible. And certainly don't stare the animal down to take stupid photos. People need to stay away from wild animals. They are wild. Don't try to pet them and don't take selfies with them.

This advice surely would have prevented The Bison Buffaloing at Broken Jaw Butte, 1883, widely considered #3 on the Top-5 Bison attack list.

I was fishing upstate at a pond just adjacent to my property that I guess I technically wasn't supposed to be there, but I don’t think the owner probably would have cared about 11 year old boys fishing.

Unbeknownst to me all the cows just start showing up to drink. The pond was mostly covered by forest so they were close to me and blocking the exit.

I didn’t go and try to pet them, I was afraid. I ran into the woods like a rabbit trying to run to safety from a predator.

They walked close to the edge where the forest began and they just looked at me like the pussy I appeared to be.

Social media all but killed Bison Lore.

Fortunately, there are scribes who have been continuing to compile historical data from word of mouth stories, old ledgers and manuscripts, and Red Dead Redemption.

That's smart though. You still can't trust them.  I would have gotten far away as well. They may have started a stampede. I did once see a video of someone playing the violin for cows and they enjoyed it. I also saw a video of a man playing his fiddle for a wild fox.

I hope that bison has the ability to be proud of himself, he got some serious height on that guy, like Kazmaier tossing a keg.

Once authenticated, I know of several shop keepers who are willing pay a pretty penny to secure any available hand-written documents, ledgers, or parchments that pertain to the mighty Bison.

You don't want a stampede.

Just ask Jebediah “Flat” McCoy a victim of the The Great Prairie Pancaking of 1849 (Kansas):

Quote
During the California Gold Rush, prospector Jebediah “Flat” McCoy woke up to find his bedroll in the middle of a small bison stampede. He claimed the herd used him as a human doormat for nearly a mile. McCoy emerged flatter than a flapjack but insisted the experience gave him “a new appreciation for the horizontal lifestyle.” His pancake-like silhouette was said to be visible in the grass for years afterward.

Coincidently, this is #2 on the Top-5 all time Bison attacks

It's very hard to put a price on this stuff.  Those shop vultures are always looking to swindle for personal gain.  Perhaps your associates are some on the rare honest ones, but the majority of shopkeeps have been practicing nefarious shit for centuries.

I'm thinking the man may have been too close to the buffalo.

They should release the picture they took.

Maybe it was so good it was worth it.
