I find the single leg calf raise not holding onto anything to be very hard. Could it be the secret move to calf growth? Even more challenging if you try and pause at the top of the contraction up on your big toe. My calves respond the best to that move vs machines.

I saw some calf implants for the first time in person yesturday. Looked so stupid and obvious, like arm bands stuffed under the skin , too rounded and they were just like lou's in the 90's,

Arnold has been heavily criticized for his legs, but he is in a league of its on because he has calves bigger than most open bodybuilders while having a smaller waist (classic physique standards)
