Haftors 510kg is still a better lift in my eyes. Faster bar speed and no hesitation in lock up.

But this is more, and a record! Amazing lift!

I don't usually cry about risks but if he's smart he'll do everything possible to stay healthy, keep that blood pressure reasonable and so on. I don't worry about the back so much, not that that isn't any consideration, it's 511kg!

In any case it's not necessarily so that he'll push that that much more, there aren't always many such performances in a body, despite the young age. But time will tell.

Personally I hope Thor can use this for motivation to kick it up and get 515 maybe even 520. This kid is pretty young, if he can stay healthy and has the desire to improve on it, he has years to accomplish records.

Thor is quite humble and a nice kid (he's only 37). In the heat of battle they can all be dicks, goes way back.
Even a couple decades ago, Shaw would whine and cry about Big-Z on the Jesse-Marunde and there was one other big Strongman forum where its name is escaping me.
Eddie is mainly the one sore sport in recent decades, and he cant carry most of the guys gym-bags. amazing static strength, but zero longevity and zero placing-history.
