Rubio might have more chances than Vance.

Rubio would crush Vance and anyone else at this point.  Rubio has worn many hats in the administration and for the most part has kept his head down and out of the spotlight.  Unlike Vance and the other idiots, he has been slowly increasing his political capital and clout.  I would not be surprised to see him resign at the end of the year in order to protect himself from the next two lame duck years.

I agree with Vance more than Rubio on things like foreign invasions. But I just don’t like Vance. Someone posted that he’s soft, fat, and weak, and that’s how I see him even though I agree with his policies. I think (nothing’s definite at this point) I’d vote for Rubio over Vance, even though Rubio is more of a typical RINO, George Bush style Republican. I don’t have much of a rational basis for that. I sometimes despise Bush because of what he did in Iraq, because I think that hurt the whole world. Just thinking out loud now that you’ve mentioned the two of them against each other.

                      Winning an election and holding power are two separate events in the U.S., and the gap between them is set by law. Election Day falls on the Tuesday after the first Monday in November. For most federal winners, the actual start of the job arrives about two months later, in January. Just wait till they actually get sworn in to complain as is our right. And I'm sure you will exercise that right.

Trump U-turns on MAGA ally Greg Abbott with dizzying speed after his election loss becomes clear

As voters were heading to the polls Tuesday morning, Trump gushed over the "strong and highly respected" Republican. The president spoke about Abbott "fighting tirelessly to Champion Texas Values," and listed a platform that seemed aligned with his national agenda, such as keeping the southern border secure and cutting taxes and regulations.

"Greg Abbott has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election. He is an exceptional Governor and man. GET OUT AND VOTE FOR GREG — HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!" Trump wrote in a Truth Social post.

But then the votes came in.

SWEET KARMA! Democrat Scott Colom who is about to win the Mississippi Senate seat only ran after his MAGA opponent blocked him from obtaining a lifetime federal judge position!  This is one of the most glorious backfires in American history...  Back in November of 2022, President Biden nominated Colom to the federal district court in northern Mississippi. He received support from the state's senior senator, Republican Roger Wicker.

But Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith, who Colom is now leading by 1,764 in the vote count from Tuesday, refused to support the nomination. In fact, she blocked the Senbate from even considering him by withholding her blue slip, an old Senate custom that lets one home-state senator veto a judge.
She defended her indefensible move by insisting that he couldn't be trusted with such power because of past support for transgender right. In reality, she was just pandering to the racist MAGA base by blocking a Black Democrat.  But if she hadn't blocked him, Colom would be a judge right now. Instead, he's poised to take Hyde-Smith's seat, flipping a seat that has been red since 1972 in a state that handed Trump 61% of its vote in 2024.
While the race has not yet been called, if Colom maintains this lead, as he seems likely to do, the seat is his.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), the sponsor of the original Epstein Files Transparency Act, said Thursday he felt confident he could force a vote on a follow-up bill once Congress returns following the election.

Massie wrote on the social platform X that he felt assured he would be able to get enough signatures for a discharge petition, which forces a vote on the House floor.

“When we return next week, we’ll get 218 signatures for Epstein Files Transparency Act II, which guarantees a vote,” he wrote.

“Survivors will be able to get their own records, State Attorneys General can prosecute crimes, and we can take the DOJ [Department of Justice] to court for keeping critical files hidden.”

Rep. Ro Khanna (Calif.), the Democratic co-sponsor of the original legislation, called the new legislation the “Epstein 2.0 Act,” saying it would “allow state attorney generals to prosecute the pedophiles who abused and trafficked young girls.”

   The ballroom is a top priority it seems we've wanted one for over 150 years. as far as the videos go I will cut them down to next to nothing. apparently a problem can happen when too many people click on the same video at one time, thus debunking your nobody watches your videos theory.   what happens if you just post the link for the video, so that if somebody wants to see it they have to click on it and watch it on youtube. is that problemic ?    not being wise I just want to know ?
