I'm not American but I'd like America to look a certain way, be strong in a way I think is good, be an America that influences the world in a direction that I think is good. At the same time I don't concern myself too much, can't do much, but I watch LOL. I think what passes for conservatism in America today is shit.

I've mentioned this idea previously but I read another interesting article.
An idea from an extreme right wing perspective. A couple of quotes:

https://counter-currents.com/2026/10/the-d-vote-pass-audio/

Quote
The “D-Vote Pass”

Envision the smuggest Boomer Republican
: the kind of guy who thinks you are lazy, entitled, and just need to tug harder on your bootstraps; the kind of guy who thinks that Israel is our greatest ally, and “We need to fight them over there, so we don’t have to fight them over here”; the kind of guy whose greatest fear is still the N-word, or worse, the R- word (racist).

Because he thinks that there’s nothing worse than racism (but only for white people), he is delighted when one of the Left’s favored groups—non-whites, women, gays, even trannies—mouths Republican talking points, for he feels that such people give him moral validation. If only we could run such people for office, such Rainbow Republicans would advance the Republican agenda, be immune from criticism, and allow the whole party to bask in a glow of moral unimpeachability.

Even Trump thinks this way. That’s why we got such diverse Republican losers as Herschel Walker in Georgia, Dr. Mohammed Genghis Oz in Pennsylvania, and Winsome Earle-Sears in Virginia. That’s why we got trial balloons for Bruce “Caitlin” Jenner running for governor of California. That’s why we have the loathsome scammer Vivek Ramaswamy running for governor of Ohio today.

Imagine the sort of Boomer Republican who laps up that kind of slop and comes back for seconds. Maybe you know one personally. Give him a face. Give him a name.

Now imagine doubling—nay tripling—your pleasure on election day. Instead of just withholding your vote by staying home, go to the polls and picture yourself canceling this Boomer’s vote by voting Democrat.

....

“But Greg, be reasonable. You don’t want these crazy Leftists back in power, do you? You don’t want to cut off your nose to spite your face, right?”

No, I don’t. But the best way to keep crazy Leftists out of power is for the Right to keep promises to their voters. And the best way to guarantee that Republicans keep their promises is to make them live in fear of the voters they routinely betray. And the D-Vote Pass gives them more reason to worry.

What does this even mean ?  In your own words. you'll have to explain it to me because I'm old, crippled and somewhat dense.  And now apparently a coward according to some little tattooed pygmy on here.  They should make a new rule you have to be at least 5 ft 8 inches tall to post on here.

We probably agree on a lot of things.

My concern for you is that you are being fed mountains of misinformation based on your algorithm, and that you are spending time on things that cause you angst rather than things that bring enjoyment.

Trump is Trump.  He has been saying outrageous things for a decade now.

But most of the hate is fostered via bad actors, utilizing social media to create the perception of hate and divide, and purposely agitate via misinformation.  The videos you are fed and repost are are a perfect example of this.

There’s no if, they’re going to lose the majority these mid terms. I blame mostly Trump, because he’s soured the economy with this bullshit handling of the war and he continues to deny that he is partially responsible for all of this. Add that to the fact that the left absolutely hates him and everything associated with him, and you get what we got in 2020 which was more of a result of hatred for him rather than any type of enthusiasm about Joe Biden.

Gonna be a lot of cope tomorrow. I voted R across the board except for one amendment on the state constitution but other than that I am still not on board with the far lefts agenda and will vote against anybody who doesn’t denounce that shit.

History definitely isn't on our side when it comes to special elections. I WILL be surprised if we retain the house and senate but as far the as the economy, I just don't look at the surface but rather the cause and it's ALL due to the Iran conflict and even with that it's still lower than the previous fake administration. I knew what I was voting for (as I've said in the past) but as far as the economy as whole, it's good. Construction is up, permits, private sector jobs, the markets all up., GDP is up beating expectations, etc. Even CNBC called the economy "strong" and "solid". Right now we're literally in an expansion phase.

All of that said..still better than communism

Just an fyi. The only way the republicans lose is because of lack of voter turn out. If you claim to be a republicans (I'm a conservative but whatever) and don't show up you should have no right to complain about anything for the next two years..at lease. It's Good vs. Evil

Coach, I think we share a lot of common ground politically, small government, lower taxes, importance of gun rights, and pushing back against the woke ideology. But I’ve never agreed with the idea that we somehow lose our right to complain about our government and its leaders. Not to single you out, because you aren't the only person who I've heard this from and I hear it from both Republicans and Democrats. I think that as Americans we have the right to complain about our leaders whether we voted for them, against them, or didn’t vote at all. That ability to speak freely is part of what makes this country great.

National debt = $40.5T
Republicans on November 2nd = crickets
Republicans on November 4th = "The Dems have to fix it..  :'( :'( :'( :'(  "

Typical copy and paste response, trump had 2 years to correct everything with full control of the government . how come it's such a mess. what the hell do you care if a man wants to be a woman. laugh it off and move on. your fake outrage makes little sense, you are as loony as your fearless leader.

"Only I can fix this. I am the only one that knows how to fix this.  I will fix this on Day 1"

Day 1 has come and gone and nothing.  Much like that "concept of a plan" for healthcare.   :D :D :D

Didn't seem to be surprised with all those big talking posts and predictions you were dragging out over here the past few weeks.

Now having a moment of semi clarity and trying to soften the impact.   ::)
